On October 16, the award ceremony of the 2nd China Eco-friendly Fabric Design Competition was held at the opening ceremony of the 4th Jiangsu (Shengze) Textile Expo. Shengze textile enterprises have made great achievements in this competition. 39 fabrics submitted by 28 companies have won individual awards and outstanding awards respectively. The number of awards has exceeded one-third of the total national awards and has become the biggest winner. The Shengze Town Government was awarded the Innovation Promotion Award.

The China Eco-friendly Fabric Design Competition started in 2015. It is a professional textile fabric design competition that promotes the sustainable development of China's textile and garment industry. It advocates the concept of eco-textile design, promotes the development of market-oriented eco-textiles, and guides the green development of the industry. .

Since the launch of this competition, textile enterprises across the country have participated in the competition and participated in more than 1,000 eco-friendly fabrics from nearly 300 companies. In the end, the jury composed of textile technology experts, fashion trend research experts, clothing brand designers and buyers selected the best eco-friendly materials application award, the best eco-friendly technology application award, and the best eco-friendly product market application.
